This is your 490 South Van Ness development team with a construction update.
Nibbi Brothers and Guzman construction teams poured the final level of concrete bringing the development to 33 percent of completion. Members of the Nibbi, Guzman, BRIDGE and Mission Housing teams gathers last week to commemorate the occasion with a “Topping Off Party” on Adair St. Food was provided by Kinders BBQ and Chile Lindo.
Also of major importance: on Sept. 19 during Mission Housing’s Gala Fundraiser “Las 3 Hermanas” 490 South Van Ness was officially named Avanza 490. A video detailed the selection process can be seen below.
Crews will now turn their attention to moving from the ground floor up and laying out the walls, framing the units and roughing the utilities of Avanza 490.
Lastly, construction crews will take down the pedestrian canopy around the building.
